I have always loved the idea of being an Event Planner. I just love it! Turns out that I'm the Event Planner at work!
I am currently planning a fundraiser, a Halloween Party and a mystery party. On top of this, I am also planning a party for the girls in my district.
This is keeping me rather busy. The mystery party is on the 12th of September, the party for my district is on the 14th, and the fundraiser is on the 21st. Obviously the Halloween party isn't until October. :)

I am taking most of my inspiration for my Visiting Teaching party from this website where she threw a Cupcakes & Cocktails party. It's called P is for Party. It's a great website and has TONS of ideas. I also found an idea for a baby shower that served mocktails on this website. So I'm throwing a Cupcakes & Mocktails party. The main reason I'm having this party is because I hate visiting teaching. Not the idea of it. The idea of it is fantastic! Bringing sister's in the ward together to become friends, to lift each other up and serve one another is great! I just don't think that visiting each other once a month is very effective. I have never become friends with anyone I visit taught or who taught me. This party, or at least my plan for this party, is to get each us out of our comfort zones and to have fun as women, and get to know each other so that we can actually become friends! We'll be playing my favorite game called Quelf, which really gets you out of your comfort zone by making you do silly things. I am so excited!
The fundraiser I'm throwing at work is going to be a "Drive-In" movie. I have rented a 16x9 ft blow up screen to watch the movie on out in the field the kids play in. We are going to get a bunch of boxes for the kids to decorate as cars and then later watch the movie. We will be having a concession stand, a ticket stand, everything. It's going to be so fun!
